The U.S. Postal Service is seeking community input on relocating the Cold Spring Post Office. Read below for more information:
U.S. Postal Service officials want community input on the relocation plans for the Cold Spring, NY 10516 Post Office. With the expiration of the lease at the current 51 Chestnut Street location, officials are interested in finding potential sites with approximately 900 square feet of space in Cold Spring to relocate postal operations. Written comments are being accepted through February 26, 2014. Comments should reference the Cold Spring Post Office by name and be sent to:

Postal representatives will be discussing the relocation at the February 11, 2014 Cold Spring Village Board of Trustees meeting. The meeting, which is open to the public, starts at 7:30 p.m. and is being held in the music room of the Haldane Central School at 15 Craigside Drive in Cold Spring.
The Postal Service currently provides service in Cold Spring with a temporary trailer next to the former Post Office at 51 Chestnut Street.
